Visiting any place can be a nervous experience. At Lakecrest Baptist Church we want to put your nervousness at rest and provide you with a friendly, comfortable visit. Below is some information that can assist you in your first visit to Lakecrest.
1) Finding Us
Our church is located on the northwest corner of Elizabeth Lake Road and Airport Road, right in the center of Oakland County. There are two entrances on Airport Road. Directions…
35 Airport Road, Waterford, MI 48327
2) Finding Nurseries, Classes, and Services
As you arrive on property, simply enter one of the three entrances to the building pictured above. You will be greeted by a friendly usher or staff member and led to the appropriate nursery, class, or service.
3) What’s the morning schedule?
Our morning service begins at 11:00 am. We also have one hour of Sunday School and adult Bible classes that begin at 10:00 am. With over thirty classes and nurseries, there is a Bible class for every person.
4) How should I dress?
There is not a dress code at Lakecrest Baptist Church for members or guests, but our ministry leaders and many of our church family dress in more traditional “Sunday” dress.
5) Are there services at other times?
Yes. We have a Sunday evening service (completely different from Sunday morning) that begins at 6:00 pm and we also meet on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 pm for a mid-week Bible study.
6) Am I expected to participate in the offering?
No. We don’t invite you to Lakecrest Baptist Church for your offering. We want our service to be a gift to you. Please don’t feel any obligation to participate in the offering as a guest.
If there’s something we missed on this list, just give us a call, or ask someone when you arrive. Whether you’re new to the area and looking for a church home, or if it’s been a long time since you’ve attended church at all, we hope your first visit at Lakecrest will be a profitable one!
